Minnesota Vikings 2020 7-Round Mock Draft

Minnesota, we have a problem. Like, a lot of problems. The Vikings roster has needs at nearly every position group and it is hard to fill all the holes with just one draft, even if Minnesota does have twelve draft picks. This is a team who could very well go from upsetting the Saints in the playoffs last year to not even sniffing the postseason in 2020. I'll use the Mock Draft Simulator from  TheDraftNetwork.com  to try my best to keep this team prominent going into next season. The Vikings do have the benefit of owning additional picks, including a second first-round pick, from the Stefon Diggs trade with Buffalo, however, that leaves the cupboard pretty bare behind top target WR Adam Thielen. Bisi Johnson and Tajae Sharpe are probably the two next best receivers on the roster but that is not saying a whole lot. The offensive line is also pretty problematic after the team cut OG Josh Kline after a contract renegotiation could not be agreed upon. LT Riley Reiff has been a...

Chicago Bears 2020 7-Round Mock Draft

Nick Foles? Nicholas Edward Foles? Is this your king? The fact that the Bears actually gave up a draft pick to bring in Foles and his massive contract while Cam Newton remains a free agent hurts my soul. While we don’t know who will come out on top in the QB competition between Foles and Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago needs to improve the roster around their two underwhelming quarterbacks. You know the drill by now after my mock drafts on the Packers and Lions, I’ll do my best to improve this squad using the Mock Draft Simulator from  TheDraftNetwork.com Outside of quarterback, the biggest need offensively for the Bears is right guard now that Kyle Long has decided to hang up his cleats. But with only two picks available to them in the first four rounds of the draft, it may be hard for Chicago to address this position. Especially since they did sign Germain Ifedi to a one-year deal to temporarily fill this vacancy. Ifedi was been largely an underwhelming right tackle for the Seatt...

Detriot Lions 2020 7-Round Mock Draft

How did we get here Lions fans? How are we about to head into year three of the Matt Patricia era when we knew halfway through year one that he is #Bad? Let's face it, this is a make-or-break season for Patricia and GM Bob Quinn. They cannot afford another 3-12-1 season. It has been an aggressive free agency period for the Lions but how can they fine-tune the roster in the draft? I'll be looking into that and once again I'm using the Mock Draft Simulator from  TheDraftNetwork.com The biggest need for Detroit on offense has to be the offensive line. The team cut OT Ricky Wagner and watched OG Graham Glasgow sign with the Denver Broncos in free agency. Then they turned around and dished out one of the worst contracts in free agency this year by giving Halapoulivaati (I was so close to spelling this correctly without looking it up damn it) Vaitai $50 million. So with Big V, Taylor Decker and Frank Ragnow, the tackle and center spots on the line are likely accounted for, ...

Green Bay Packers 2020 7-Round Mock Draft

Are you bored? Is day 11 of home quarantining getting you down? Do you need something to fill your time after binge watching all of Tiger King in one day? Fear not, I have you covered football fans. This will be the first post of my team-by-team 7-round mock draft series. In it, I will establish a team's needs, recap their free agency moves, and put together a mock draft with analysis on each pick. I'll start with the NFC North division and specifically the Green Bay Packers today. I'll be using the Mock Draft Simulator at TheDraftNetwork.com for this exercise. I highly encourage you to check out their work and try your hand at the simulator as well. Offensively, the Packers need to do everything they can to improve the situation around QB Aaron Rodgers. The NFC Championship game they played against the San Francisco 49ers was butt ugly. And while the defense deserves much of the blame for that terrible showing, the offense was just as sluggish. The Packers can't r...
